At “ArjunTree One” we have designed a building which merges the indoors and the outdoors and yet responds to the climate. The building is designed to create within itself spheres of privacy with nodes of community interaction.

This transition between indoors and outdoors has been achieved through what we call “sky gardens”. These are open green terraces with a breathtaking view. Besides creating a bit of the outdoors even at the higher floors, they break the severity of the scale.

The transition from the interior to the open terrace is made through a semi open verandah. The verandah is the most comfortable space from which one can enjoy the rain, only feeling the mild spray, or the cool breeze and shade from the sun.
